Ceramic porcelain tiles, covered under this Environmental Product Declaration, are primarily made of naturally occurring materials such as clay and mineral modifiers such as quartz and feldspar. Porcelain tiles used primarily for technical purposes are known for low water absorption of about less than 0.5% by volume. They can be used as wall and floor tiles both in internal and external surfaces with or without glazing. The full composition is available in the EPD.
