Aluminium Billets

Billet casting line comprises of state-of-the-art Wagstaff Air Slip casting unit with all associated in-line metal treatment facilities consisting of dual rod grain refiner, degassing and metal filtration unit. Air slip casting technology together with installed in-line treatment facilities ensures that all products cast through the line meet all internal and surface quality requirements. The casting unit is fed by electrically heated tilting type furnaces.

In-house laboratory is equipped with optical emission spectrometers to ensure that products meet the specified chemical composition. Cast billets are homogenized using continuous homogenizers and 100% ultrasound inspected before they are cut to the required lengths and packed at the sawing facility.

Primary Foundry Alloy

In consistent focus towards value addition, Vedanta supplies primary alloys to various industrial segments. The casting facility comprises of state-of-the-art casting facility supplied by Properzi in cast bar (10 kg), equipped with associated in-line metal treatment facilities consisting of Degassing & Metal Filtration Unit. In-house laboratory is equipped with spectrometers & other allied inspecting facilities to ensure that all products meet the specified chemical, physical, surface & static quality requirements.

Aluminium Wire Rods

Vedanta is one the leading wire rod manufacturers in the world with state-of-the-art Continuous Properzi mills, committed to manufacture products meeting world class quality standards. All the mills are fully equipped with in-line degassing and filtration systems to ensure good internal metal quality and cleanliness with eddy current measurement for superior surface finish. The chemical composition is ensured using state of art spectrometers. Experienced professionals test mechanical properties and conductivity using most modern equipment’s in a highly equipped laboratory.

Aluminium Ingots & Sows

Vedanta produces Primary Aluminium ingots & Sows that are re-melted to produce a variety of end products covering the entire spectrum of aluminium applications. We use the state of art technology to create these ingots and this ISO certified process is monitored and controlled to make ingots that meet the most stringent quality requirements. Our product is registered and approved by the London Metal Exchange (LME)

Aluminium T-ingot

T-Ingot line comprises of State-of-Art Wagstaf Epsilon technology which ensure the best quality of ptoduct. This line is equipped with In-line degassing & Filtration system to produce good quality of Product. The chemical composition is ensured using state of art spectrometer.
