A Single-footprint Report includes information of a product based on a published EPD for the same product. The single-footprint report may for instance be a climate declaration, including information related to climate change based on the environmental performance results declared in the EPD.

To publish a Single-footprint Report, it is mandatory to have a valid and published EPD within the International EPD System. The Single-footprint Report can be prepared by the Secretariat for a service charge. If the EPD owner decides to prepare the Single-footprint Report independently, the information displayed should be based on the information in the original EPD in accordance with GPI 5.0.1 Section 6.7.2, and published together with the original EPD.

The Single-footprint Report can for example focus on the climate impact information, such as the carbon footprint of a product in terms of Global Warming Potential (GWP) measured in carbon dioxide equivalents (CO2 eq.) per declared functional unit.
