Semi-conductive woven Water blocking tapes are used for power cable with the purpose of preventing moisture penetration into the cables An excellent absorbency of moisture allows powder to absorb moisture directly and start to expand immediately to fill up all the interstices after moisture has penetrated.

- Equalizing the field current of conductor and insulation and efficient system that achieves a longitudinal moisture barrier

- Smooth transition to the insulation and uniformed electrical characteristics

- Not causing chemical changes and/or material changes

It could be used

• To block the moisture penetration between the conductor and the conductor shield.

• To ensure electrical continuity between the conductor and the conductor shield.
