Electricity (Electricity from PT PLN Indonesia Power – Unit Bisnis Pembangkitan Saguling)

The electrical power system studied begins with upstream processes, including water extraction. Core processes include main power generation and supporting processes. Downstream processes include the transmission and distribution of electricity by the State Electricity Company (PLN) to consumers. Electricity serves as an energy source for households in Bandung as well as industrial activities in Bandung. The main raw material (upstream) is water from the Saguling reservoir in the Citarum River area is used to spin the turbines in the company’s production units, thereby generating the main product, which is electricity.
