Bulb Flat via EAF

Longteng's bulb flat production is centralized at the Rolling Division (Manufacturer Changshu Longteng Special Steel Co.,Ltd.). The rolling process uses continuous casting billets as raw material. These billets totally come from short-route EAF-process billets produced by Longteng.

Bulb flat is primarily used in shipbuilding, marine engineering, structural steelwork, and bridge construction - applications such as ship hull plates, offshore oil drilling platforms, and main bridge beams. These products are manufactured at Longteng’s Steel Rolling Branch, which has an annual production capacity of approximately 700,000 tons.

(1) Grades: A-grade steel, A36, DH36;

(2) Size Range: HP80 - 430;

(3) HS Code: 7216.50.2000;

(4) UN CPC Code: 41251.

The products contain no hazardous substances in accordance with Part 3 of the U.S. Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). They do not release any hazardous materials into the environment, including indoor air emissions, gamma or ionizing radiation, and do not contribute to chemical penetration into air, water, or soil. As a result, all substances associated with the production process report zero hazardous material content.
