HT Cable - 3 Core X 400 Sqmm A2XFY, Aluminium Conductor/ XLPE Insulated/Armoured/PVC FRLS Sheathed 19/33 KV (E) Grade Heavy Duty Electric Cable

The product is mainly used for high-voltage underground power transmission systems, industrial plants, substations, and infrastructure projects requiring reliable and continuous power supply. It is particularly suited for installations where flame-retardant and low-smoke properties are essential for safety, such as ducts, tunnels, and public infrastructure.

The product consists of a class 2 stranded aluminum conductor with a cross-sectional area of 400 sq.m nt loads. Each conductor is provided with a semi-conductive conductor screen, an XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulating layer, and a semi-conductive insulation screen. For shielding, the cable is equipped with a metallic screen made of copper tape. This configuration ensures excellent dielectric strength, thermal stability, and resistance to electrical stresses. The cable is designed for 19/33 kV (E) grade applications, suitable for power systems operating at 33 kV. It is thermally rated for continuous operation at 90°C and can withstand temperatures of up to 250°C under short-circuit conditions.

The insulated and screened conductors are enclosed within an inner sheath made of PVC or an equivalent compound, providing protection against mechanical stress and moisture ingress. For additional strength, the cable is armoured with galvanized steel flat strips, which ensure high resistance to physical and mechanical damage, making the cable suitable for direct burial in underground installations. The assembly is finished with an outer sheath made of PVC FRLS (Flame Retardant Low Smoke), designed to minimize fire risk and reduce smoke emission during fire incidents.

The product is suitable for fixed installation and provides durable, efficient, and safe performance under demanding high-voltage operating conditions.
