MEZCLA ASFÁLTICA TIPO AUTL

Ultra-thin bituminous mixtures for wearing courses (AUTL type) are hot or semi-hot bituminous mixtures laid over a tack coat, with a nominal thickness between 10 mm and 20 mm. The generally discontinuous grading curve of these mixtures, with an open surface texture, ensures good surface performance in terms of tyre-pavement adhesion and low noise emissions caused by vehicle traffic. At European level, the requirements of this type of mix are established in the standard: EN-13108-9. Bituminous mixtures - Material specifications. Part 9: Asphatl for Ultra-Thin Layers (AUTL). 

The AUTL mixture included in this Declaration has the following average composition (% by weight):

• Fine aggregate (including recycled filler): 25.6 %
• Coarse aggregate 69.2 %
• Conventional bitumen 5.2 %
