Precast half-slab, precast sandwich wall, concrete beam
A half-slab is a precast, reinforced concrete element, that forms a transition between monolithic reinforced concrete slabs and fully precast floor elements. The lower part of the slab is precast, while the upper part is cast-in-place on site. The precast part serves as permanent formwork and provides structural connection, whereas the cast-in-place reinforced concrete layer increases the load-bearing capacity. A precast sandwich wall consists of two interlocking precast half-slabs, which are filled with cast-in-place concrete on site. It is a solid, durable structure, offering earthquake resistance. A reinforced-concrete beam is a horizontal structural element, that transfers loads from slabs or other elements to supports, using conrete in compression and steel reinforcement in tension.
Physical properties of the product:
These precast concrete products consist of a specified mix of aggregate, cement, water, reinforcing steel and addmixture, along with plastic inserts, thus they form solid, long-lasting building elements.
