CEM I 42.5 R Portland Cement

Product Description

CEM I 42.5 R Portland Cement is a high-early-strength, rapid-hardening Portland cement

manufactured by Misr Beni Suef Cement Company (MBCC Egypt) at its fully integrated production facility in Beni Suef Governorate, Egypt.

The production process involves the extraction and preparation of raw materials (limestone, clay,

 sand, and gypsum), clinker production in rotary kilns operating at approximately 1450 °C,

and subsequent grinding of clinker with gypsum and minor constituents to obtain the final

cement product.

The resulting product exhibits high early compressive strength, excellent durability, and

consistent workability, making it suitable for precast elements, repair works, cold-weather

concreting, and applications requiring fast formwork removal or early loading.

The product fully meets the performance requirements of EN 197-1:2011 and Egyptian Standard

EOS 4756-1:2022 for CEM I 42.5 R type cement
