CEM I 42.5 N Portland Cement

CEM I 42.5 N Portland Cement is a standard-strength, normal-hardening cement manufactured by

Misr Beni Suef Cement Company (MBCC Egypt) at its fully integrated production facility in Beni Suef

Governorate, Egypt.

The production process involves extraction and preparation of raw materials (limestone, clay,

sand, and gypsum), clinker production in rotary kilns at approximately 1450 °C, and subsequent

grinding of clinker with gypsum and minor constituents to obtain the final cement product.

The resulting product is a durable and versatile Portland cement with stable strength development,

consistency, and workability, meeting EN 197-1:2011 and EOS 4756-1:2022 requirements for CEM I

42.5 N type cement.
