Aluminium Billet
Aluminum billet is a semi-finished product in cylindrical form, used as an input material in the production of aluminum profiles, aluminum billets, and other extruded aluminum products. The product is manufactured by melting primary aluminum and/or recycled aluminum together with alloying elements, adjusting the chemical composition under controlled process conditions, and shaping it through continuous or semi-continuous casting methods. During the production process, the internal homogeneity, grain structure, and surface quality of the billets are monitored and controlled to ensure suitability for the extrusion process. Aluminum billets are produced within specified diameter and length tolerances and may undergo further processes such as heat treatment and homogenization, before being dispatched for use in aluminum extrusion presses.
