Exterior Venitian Blind

An External Venetian Blind is a sun protection system designed for heat regulation and comfort. It consists of adjustable horizontal slats, suspended within side guide rails or cables, which allow precise control of light and solar gain based on the sun's position. When retracted, the system is housed within a protective box.

In summer, the blind acts as a thermal barrier, dissipating solar heat externally before it reaches the glazing. This significantly reduces unwanted heat ingress, minimizes building overheating, and lowers cooling energy demand. Depending on the slat profile, the system can achieve near-complete darkening or a balanced mix of shading, daylight utilization, and outward view. By optimizing natural light, it also helps reduce the need for artificial lighting.

The blinds are available in manual or motorized versions, offering flexible operation tailored to user needs.
