Gres Porcelánico BIa
This Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) covers the average manufacturing of glazed porcelain stoneware ceramic tiles classified as BIa according to UNE-EN 14411, with a water absorption rate below 0.5%.
The product is manufactured by New Tiles using a dry pressing process and a single firing cycle. It is intended for use as floor and wall coverings, suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The EPD represents a weighted average of New Tiles’ total production of BIa glazed porcelain tiles manufactured during the year 2023, covering all formats, thicknesses and designs produced with the same base body formulation (kaolinitic clays) and firing cycle. Variations between references are limited to format, thickness and surface finishing pigments or additives, which do not significantly affect the overall chemical composition.
The declared product has an average mass of 21.29 kg per m², an average thickness of 11.6 mm and a reference service life of 50 years
