ZymeFlow Rezyd-HP Z71 is a high-performance decontamination solvent formulated for demanding industrial cleaning applications. It is engineered to dissolve and dislodge heavy hydrocarbons, hardened tar, asphalt, greases, and polymeric deposits that are otherwise resistant to conventional treatments. The chemistry features a high Kauri-Butanol value, providing exceptional solvency and deep penetration capability while maintaining a low-hazard profile. Rezyd-HP Z71 is used in refinery and petrochemical operations, including heat exchanger cleaning, coke conditioning, bottom-of-the-barrel processing, process piping treatment, and pre-turnaround decontamination. It is compatible with metals and refinery metallurgy and drastically reduces or eliminates the need for mechanical cleaning, enabling faster, safer maintenance cycles.

The product is used exclusively in solvent carrier applications, not aqueous systems, to ensure optimal performance and to avoid environmental complications from partial water solubility. It is typically applied at low concentration (e.g., 1–5% by volume) depending on deposit severity, temperature, and circulation conditions. The solvent blend softens and mobilises deposits so they can be flushed away efficiently. In many cases, the recovered oil phase can be reprocessed through the slop system, minimising waste. Rezyd-HP Z71 is fully biodegradable, low-level VOC, and compatible with refinery waste-handling processes, offering powerful cleaning performance with reduced environmental impact.
