Safety barrier: PM2A (Mugello series)
The Vita International Motorcycle Safety Device (DSM) can be applied to the entire range of safety barriers. It is composed of specially shaped Corten® steel support brackets measuring 510x153x120mm and 4mm thick; fixed to the lower part of the barrier and placed between the horizontal belts and the uprights or spacers, depending on the type of barrier to which it is applied. The horizontal band composed of Corten® steel sheets specially shaped to guarantee maximum performance of the device and measuring 2300x370 and 1.5mm thick is then secured to the brackets. The joints between the elements are guaranteed by suitable bolts. 8.8. The DSM protects riders from direct impact with sharp guardrail elements and provides controlled containment and redirection to prevent sliding beneath the barrier.
