Webertherm ROBUSTO System

The Webertherm ROBUSTO System is a universal External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS) designed for façade applications, offering exceptional robustness comparable to masonry walls. It complies with the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and is intended for use with a wide range of finishes, including organic, mineral and ceramic cladding.

The system is based on webertherm PLACA EPS, a stabilized expanded polystyrene insulation board with excellent thermal performance (thermal conductivity, λ = 0,037 W/m·K). It is designed to enhance the thermal efficiency of the building envelope while providing a solid and durable base for multiple finish options such as siloxane-based (webertene ADVANCE), mineral (webercal LISO), or ceramic cladding.

Supply and application of insulation boards:

Install webertherm PLACA EPS horizontally in successive rows with staggered joints. Boards are adhered using webertherm BASEGEL adhesive mortar, applied either by perimeter bead and central dabs or by full surface troweling, ensuring a minimum adhesion surface of 40%. Use as reference 100 mm.

Mechanical fixing:

Insulation boards are mechanically anchored using webertherm ESPIGA SRD-5 anchors with steel core and plastic body, combined with webertherm CORONA RS separation rings and webertherm MALLA METÁLICA reinforcement mesh. Use webertherm SEPARADOR RD spacers for mesh alignment.

Surface reinforcement:

Apply a base coat of webercal AISROC (or INTO HP for ceramic finishes) with a thickness of approx. 20 mm, followed by two layers of webertherm BASEGEL (2–3 mm per layer), reinforced with webertherm MALLA 160, an alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh (mesh opening 3,5 × 3,8 mm, weight 160 g/m², thickness 0,52 mm, elongation resistance 3,8 / 3,8).

Finish options:

Organic coatings: webertene ADVANCE (siloxane), applied after primer webertene PRIMER.

Mineral finish: webercal LISO, lime-based mortar in thin layer.

Ceramic cladding: adhered with webercol FLEX MULTIRAPID (≤ 3600 cm²) or SUPERAPID (> 3600 cm²), grouted with webercolor PREMIUM.
