RAVATHERM Stone Wool Boards
RAVATHERM SW stone wool boards are synthetic resin-bonded, water-repellent, large-scale step-resistant stone wool products and designed for high thermal and acoustic performance and enhanced fire safety. Raw materials are stored in separate silos, then fed into a shaft (cupola) furnace where they are melted and converted by a high-speed spinner into stone wool fibers with resin that is cured in a hardening oven. The stone wool is then cooled, cut to size, packaged into bundles and pallets, and sent to storage. The range covers dedicated solutions such as RAVATHERM SW Roof (for straight-layered, non-walkable flat roofs—including slope elements for drainage) and façade boards like ETICS Plus, with installation by adhesive or mechanical fixing as required by wind loads. Typical benefits include excellent thermal insulation capability, energy savings, high compressive strength, vapor permeability, durability and stability for residential and industrial applications.
