Walki®Wall ECO VCL
This LCA covers the paper-based vapour control layers (VCL) manufactured by Walki Group Oy factories in Finland and Belgium.
The vapour control layers are used to increase the insulation capacity and enable faster dehydration. A well-functioning vapour control layer protects the property and significantly extends the life of the structure and allows you to economize energy efficiently and at the same time increase thermal insulation as it limits the amount of convection in the underlying insulation but still has the opportunity to dry out in both directions.

Walki®Wall SD20PRO 170 ECO has been chosen as the representative product analysed in this EPD as it is most sold product configuration of this product family.
