Walki®Wall Reflex AL

This LCA covers the reflective vapour control layers (VCL) and wind barriers (WB) based on aluminium foil manufactured by Walki Group Oy factory in Duffel, Belgium. 

The vapour control layers are used to increase the insulation capacity and enable faster dehydration. Aluminium layer offers low emissivity value which minimize the house energy loss. A well-functioning vapour control layer protects the property and significantly extends the life of the structure and allows you to economize energy efficiently and at the same time increase thermal insulation as it limits the amount of convection in the underlying insulation.  

Walki®Wall Reflex PP NW 140A is a reflective VCL. It is age-resistant and manufactured with aluminium foil laminated to PP non-woven polypropylene (PP) fabric with polypropylene (PP) polymer. 

Walki®Wall Film Reflex 150 and Walki®Wall Film Reflex 125 are reflective VCLs. They are age-resistant and manufactured with aluminium foil laminated to polyethylene (PE) film and polypropylene (PP) reinforcement scrim with polyethylene (PE) polymer. 

Reflective wind barriers are used for the protection of facades against wind, rain and moisture. They are applied in case of facade insulation systems. Perforated structure ensures very good diffusion-open properties that allow moisture and vapour to migrate out of the façade system. Aluminium layer offer low emissivity value which minimize the house energy loss. 

Walki®Wall Reflex PP NW 140AP a is perforated reflective wind barrier. It is age-resistant and manufactured with aluminium foil laminated to PP non-woven polypropylene (PP) fabric with polypropylene (PP) polymer. Structure is perforated. 

Walki®Wall Film Reflex 170 is a perforated reflective wind barrier. It is age-resistant and manufactured with aluminium foil laminated to polyethylene (PE) film and polypropylene (PP) reinforcement scrim with polyethylene (PE) polymer. 

The products are manufactured with coextrusion laminating. 

This EPD is of multiple products, based on a representative product.

Walki®Wall Reflex PP NW 140AP has been chosen as the representative product analysed in this EPD as it is most sold product configuration of this product family.
