Walki®Roof Mono, low weight

This LCA covers the roofing underlays manufactured by Walki Group Oy factory in Valkeakoski, Finland.  

Walki®Roof Mono family roofing underlays are used for the protection of roof against wind, rain and moisture. They are applied in case of roof insulation systems. These roofing underlays are age-resistant with a diffusion-open polymer barrier protected by two non-woven polypropylene (PP) non-woven fabrics. The special polymer barrier of the products ensures very good diffusion-open properties that allow moisture and vapour to migrate out of the structure. Walki®Roof Mono, low weight product family structures are heat and UV resistant.

This product family is done by using coextrusion laminating manufactory process. 

This EPD is of multiple products, based on a representative product.

Walki®Roof Mono 135 has been chosen as the representative product analysed in this EPD as it is most sold product configuration of this product family.
