Steel structures (NovaCor Corrugated steel pipes and arches)
Steel structures are manufactured in accordance with the EN 1090 standard. The primary material used in production is steel slit strip S250GD.
The helically corrugated pipes and the corrugated arches are made from steel with two alternative corrosion protection systems: either hot-dip galvanized only, or hot-dip galvanized and additionally coated with polyethylene (PEH).
The main raw material (steel) is purchased from the manufacturer already hot-dip galvanized and, where applicable, coated with a special polymer layer. The steel is produced in accordance with EN 10346 and is specifically intended for cold-forming processes such as corrugation.
Corrugated steel pipes are produced using cold-forming equipment, in which flat steel strip is shaped to achieve the required corrugation profile and subsequently helically formed into pipes of the specified diameter.
Corrugated steel arches are manufactured by longitudinally cutting the corrugated steel pipe to obtain arch segments with the desired geometric parameters.
