PS-25 strip

The PS-25 strip is a flexible, homogeneous, graphite-based intumescent strip. Application:

The PS-25 strip is designed to provide fire-stopping seals for service penetrations in fire-rated wall and floor structures. The product is used to protect combustible plastic pipes, multilayered pipes, metal pipes with combustible insulation, and cable bundles.

The application process involves wrapping the strip around the service in the required number of layers, ensuring it is positioned correctly within the wall or floor. In the event of a fire, the material expands to seal the opening around the services, effectively blocking the passage of fire.

It is suitable for use in flexible, rigid, and sandwich panel wall supporting structures to ensure the required fire resistance of the building elements.
