The products included in this EPD are pre‑mixed lightweight structural concretes, supplied in bags, designed for structural applications in civil construction where reduced self‑weight and high mechanical performance are required.

They are composed of cementitious binders, siliceous aggregates, and lightweight aggregates based on expanded clay. Depending on the formulation, may include binders with a high recycled content and reduced CO₂ emissions in compliance with Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM). All products are supplied as dry, ready‑to‑use mixes requiring the addition of water only at the construction site.

In the hardened state, the concretes typically have an in‑place density of about 1,600 kg/m³ and a characteristic compressive strength of > 35 MPa, corresponding to lightweight structural concrete strength class. Compared to traditional concretes, they allow a significant reduction in in‑place mass. They are suitable for structural lightweight concrete works such as floor strengthening and structural castings in new construction and renovation, where reduced dead load and structural performance are required. All products covered by this EPD are classified as non‑combustible and assigned to Euroclass A1 for reaction to fire.
