Coated steel tubes

Longitudinally welded coated steel tubes are manufactured by cutting from pre-coated steel coils. Strips of suitable width are cut from the coil according to the tube size to be manufactured. The cut strip is shaped by rolling the strip into a tubular shape. The edges of the strip are welded together by induction welding. After welding, the round tube is rolled into its final shape.

Coated steel tubes are used in environments where corrosion resistance is required, such as various fence posts, traffic sign tubes and outdoor furniture.
