Float & Coated Glass

Float Glass (clear float): Float glass is a high-quality flat glass, superior to other types of flat glass thanks to its unique characteristics: excellent surface finish, perfect flatness, uniform thickness, high optical quality, and a bright appearance. Its name comes from the manufacturing process in which molten glass “floats” on a bath of molten tin. For several decades, this technology has largely replaced older methods of producing glass sheets and plates.
