Low voltage flexible cables H07RN-F

General Cavi's H07RN-F family consists of harmonised flexible power cables, rubber-insulated and with special elastomeric sheathing, with class 5 flexible copper conductors, EI4 quality elastomeric compound insulation and EM2 type polychloroprene rubber outer sheath, which is flame retardant and resistant to water (AD8), oils and atmospheric agents.

The cables covered by this EPD (H07RN-F family) are classified according to PSR-0001-ed4-EN-2022 11 16 in the category ‘Wires and cables for power transmission’, i.e. electrical cables intended for power transmission by means of one or more conductors protected by insulation and an outer sheath, installed as permanent wiring inside buildings, underground, suspended, submarine, exposed, etc.

This EPD covers the H07RN-F family of homogeneous products from General Cavi S.p.A., consisting of 88 formations. For the purposes of the environmental declaration, the family has been treated as a coherent whole, as the products share the same function, the same harmonised technical standards, and similar materials and production processes, differing mainly in the relative quantities of the components (copper and polymeric/elastomeric materials) and the resulting linear weight. The reference product used as the basis for calculation and comparison is the H07RN-F 5G16mm2 cable.
