ACSR Finch (564-A1/S1A-54/19)

ACSR Finch (564-A1/S1A-54/19) is a finished aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) overhead line conductor manufactured by Midal Cables B.S.C. Bahrain in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The product consists of stranded aluminium wires around a galvanized steel core and is intended for use in overhead power transmission, distribution, and related electrical infrastructure applications.

The product is manufactured through receipt of molten aluminium from ALBA, alloy adjustment where required, casting and rolling to produce aluminium rod, wire drawing into individual aluminium wires, and stranding together with galvanized steel core wires into the final conductor configuration. The finished conductor is wound onto reels or drums, packed, marked, and delivered at the factory gate.

This EPD covers the product as produced and packaged at the factory gate and is based on a declared unit of 1 tonne (1,000 kg) of finished ACSR Finch conductor.
