Plate Mill Plates are flat steel products manufactured from carbon and low-alloy steels, designed for applications requiring high structural strength, durability, and dimensional stability. The Plate Mill Plates covered under this Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) are manufactured at Bhilai Steel Plant using an integrated steelmaking route and comply with IS 2062 E-250, 300, 350, 410, 450, 550, IS 2041, ASTM - A - 204 M, ASTM - A36, IS 5986, IRS M - 41, IS 2002, IS 2041/ASTM - A - 285, 515, 516, 537 or equivalent international specifications and standards. Production includes slab reheating and hot rolling using plate mill technologies, ultrasonic testing, ensuring consistent quality and traceability.
