Carbuna Biochar
Biochar is made by heating woodchips in a low oxygen environment, a process called pyrolysis. Because there is little oxygen, the wood does not burn in a flame; instead, it breaks down into a solid carbon rich material (biochar) and a mixture of gases known as syngas.
Biochar is used in several different fields of application, such as agriculture or as an additive in structural (urban) soils (e.g., in tree planting substrate).
