E-Kent U LE

This bus is not yet placed on the market. Therefore, the results of this EPD shall be interpreted with caution, as the LCI data are not based on a full year of production, which may lead to increased uncertainty. Several inventory parameters, including energy consumption during the use phase and certain production-related energy inputs, have been estimated based on data from comparable bus models. While the results are expected to be broadly representative, the EPD will be updated with verified primary data once sufficient operational data have been collected.

The E-Kent U LE is a city bus available in the 10.9 and 12 meter version. It is equipped with a 310 kW Voith electric motor and, like the rest of the Otokar Bus electric range, integrates the new generation LFP lithium-ion batteries assembled by CATL.

A modular approach to energy storage offers on the E-Kent U LE various combinations consisting of eight or twelve battery packs distributed between the roof and the rear of the vehicle, for a total capacity of 331 or 497 kWh respectively. The extended battery capacity offers a range of up to 542 km.
