Slag cement CEM III 42.5N
Cement is one of the most important building materials used in the construction industry, working as binder that sets, hardens and adheres to other materials to bind them together forming concrete, mortars, grouts and plasters. Each product and each application require a different type of cement. CEM III 42.5N slag cement is ideal for applications that require enhanced resistance to sulphate and chloride ingress but also require relatively high early strengths. Designed for concrete applications that require high strength and durability. Mainly used in concrete product manufacturing (precast market). Another advantage of CEM III is the reduction of the CO2-footprint, since the CO2-intensive ingredient clinker is partly replaced by slags.
