Symbio

Symbio is a traction lift model that can be configured with or without a machine room. The same model is designed to adapt to a wide range of shaft configurations, including installations with reduced pit and/or headroom. Depending on the selected configuration, it can be applied to different load capacities and building typologies.

Available for new buildings as well as for existing shafts with reduced pit or headroom (EN81.21).

Versatile Application:

Symbio is ideal for both new buildings and existing shafts with space limitations, including those requiring compliance with EN81-21. Its design eliminates the need for a dedicated machine room, allowing for more efficient use of building space. Though particularly suited to new buildings, Symbio can be configured to fit shafts of various dimensions including non-standard and retrofit installations

Flexibility and Adaptability:

Each installation is tailored to the customer’s specific requirements. The model supports a wide range of load capacities, dimensions, and travel speeds. Designed for durability and reliability, Symbio accommodates both single -phase and three-phase power supplies. The control panel can be integrated into the landing door frame (120 mm width), installed on the landing near or adjacent to the door, or even positioned remotely, depending on the project requirements.

Ride Comfort:

Symbio ensures smooth and quiet operation thanks to its “sling” type car frame and 2:1 roping configuration, which contribute to enhanced passenger comfort and reduced noise levels.

Durability and Low Maintenance:

The equipment is engineered for long service life with minimal maintenance requirements. Its robust construction significantly reduces the need for repairs over time.

Easy of installation:

The system features a mature, plug-and-play design. A bedplate resting directly on the guide rails optimises shaft space usage and simplifies the installation process.
