WOOD CLADDINGS

Wood cladding is a system composed of solid wood boards, planks, panels, or glued solid wood elements. These components are supplied under strictly controlled drying, bonding, and finishing conditions to ensure optimal dimensional stability, durability, and assembly quality.

The products are manufactured with specific machining profiles tailored to their final application, whether for indoor or outdoor use, and for horizontal (decking/platforms) or vertical (wall cladding/façades) installations.

The wood cladding is manufactured using:

  • Sawn timber sheets (lamellae): 4-sidedsquared sawn timber with an averagedensity of 580 kg/m3.
  • Adhesives and binders:
    • Adhesive-glue and correspondinghardener for finger-jointing.
    • Face-bonding adhesive and itscorresponding hardener for thestructural or cosmetic joining of thewood sheets under press.

Wood cladding is designed for installation on façades, interior walls, ceilings, or flooring. It serves a triple purpose:

1. Providing a high-quality decorative finish.

2. Ensuring environmental protectionagainst weathering, moisture, andsurface wear.

3. Contributing functional properties suchas thermal and acoustic insulation (asdocumented in the LCA study).

The product is classified under code 31211 according to the United Nations Central Product Classification (CPC).
