Micronox BIOX ON16 and ON16D

Micronox ON16 and ON16D are natural mineral adsorbents obtained from iron oxide-hydroxide-rich minerals extracted at the Ojos Negros mine (Teruel) and processed at PROMINDSA's facilities in Tierga (Zaragoza). Their main function is the removal of hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) in anaerobic digestion processes, transforming it into iron sulphide and sulphur, compounds that subsequently form part of the resulting digestate. These products have been widely used in biogas and biomethane plants. Both products share the same production process and differ only in their iron content.
