Precast concrete products - Linear structural elements

This EPD covers prefabricated linear reinforced and prestressed concrete elements – columns and beams – manufactured by Perdanga. Both product types share the same production site, raw material base, and manufacturing technology, and function as linear load-bearing components of building frame structures, transferring loads from floor and roof systems to the foundations and enabling large open spaces without load-bearing walls. Columns are produced in rectangular and circular cross-sections, and beams in rectangular (R), single-ledge (RL), double-ledge (RT), I and SI profiles; other shapes such as polygonal or oval can be manufactured upon request. Columns can be produced with corbels or embedded steel inserts to support beams, floor systems and other structural elements, and compound columns are used for taller structures. The high inherent fire resistance of reinforced concrete, achieved without additional fire protection materials, makes these elements suitable for a wide range of building applications.
