StoneCoat Carve and StoneCoat Smooth

This EPD provides information concerning StoneCoat CARVE® and StoneCoat SMOOTH®.

The production of StoneCoat CARVE® and StoneCoat SMOOTH® ® is a patented limestone technology that is applied to the exterior and interior of commercial and residential buildings. StoneCoat® has been tested and approved to meet the International Code Council Acceptance Criteria for Cementitious Exterior Wall Coatings (ICC AC 11) equivalency.

It is suitable for application on various substrates, and it results in significant weight, space, installation time, and cost savings over conventionally installed quarried stone masonry veneer, manufactured (cementitious) stone veneer, and traditional stone and cement stucco alternatives. The product is manufactured in two versions, StoneCoat CARVE® and StoneCoat SMOOTH®. Both versions have the same composition: crushed limestone, natural hydraulic lime, and White Portland cement. The size of the limestone is different between StoneCoat CARVE® and StoneCoat SMOOTH®.

StoneCoat CARVE® is made with brilliant minerals, and it can be designed into customized stone aesthetics and colors. StoneCoat SMOOTH® creates a finely textured smooth stucco finish and natural mineral pigments for a robust, UV- & fade- resistant color pallet.
