Multifilament Fiber (Cakes, Zerotwist and Direct Rovings)

Saint-Gobain Vetrotex produces textile glass fiber materials for use in very diverse applications, mainly in the technical textile field. The product range includes E-glass single yarns, voluminized yarns, texturized yarns, multifilament fiber (cakes,Zerotwist® rovings (Direct roving from 68 to 200 Tex and Direct roving (> 200 Tex))), , textile chopped strands (wet and dry) and C-glass staple fiber yarn.

Primary package of glass filament strand wound on a tube (also called a sleeve) placed on the collet of a winder, during the forming stage.

Zerotwist® or Direct rovings:

Splice free single end roving is made of strands without twist.

The product applications are automotive, construction, industrial, leisure and wind energy.
