PCR description

The validity period of this PCR (version 3.0.3) was extended from 2025-04-02 to 2026-04-02 due to a delay in the development of the new PCR development for food and beverage products.

This document provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of UN CPC 2112 (Meat of poultry, fresh or chilled), UN CPC 2114 (Meat of poultry, frozen) and the subset of UN CPC 2117 (Other meat and edible offal, fresh, chilled or frozen) corresponding to poultry meat, and the declaration of this performance by an EPD.

All kind of poultry meat (fresh, chilled or frozen) are included in this product group, as defined by UN CPC 2112, 2114 and 2117, but not limited to:

  • Chicken
  • Duck
  • Emu
  • Goose
  • Ostrich
  • Turkey
  • Guinea fowl
  • Pheasant
