PCR description

This document provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of prepared and preserved vegetable and fruit products, including juice, and the declaration of this performance by an EPD. The product category corresponds to UN CPC 213 “Prepared and preserved vegetables, pulses and potatoes” and UN CPC 214 “Prepared and preserved fruits and nuts".

The PCR incorporates and replaces the following PCRs:

  • PCR 2011:08 Fruit juices (Version 2.0)
  • PCR 2016:01 Other prepared and preserved fruit and nuts (Version 1.0)
  • PCR 2011:19 Jams, fruit jellies and marmalades, etc. (Version 1.0)
  • PCR 2014:09 Vegetable juice, Plant milk, plant milk based products, and Other prepared and preserved vegetables, pulses and potatoes (Version 2.0)
