PCR description
The development of this c-PCR was terminated on 2026-09-21. Liquid immersed transformers can still publish EPDs according to main PCR 2024:06.

The validity period of the present version of the PCR (Version 1.0.X) was extended with 1 year upon initiation of the PCR updating process, and on 2025-01-22 a second time with another 6 months, with a validity period ending 2025-04-29 due to a delay in the updating process.
This document provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of Liquid immersed power transformers (>25 MVA), and the declaration of this performance by an EPD. The product category corresponds to a subset of UN CPC 46121 “Electrical transformers".
