PCR description
This document provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of Ski Footwear and the declaration of this performance by an EPD. The product category corresponds to UN CPC 29410 Ski-boots, snowboard boots and cross-country ski footwear.
The product category includes boots and footwear for:
- Alpine skiing
- Nordic skiing (including cross-country skiing, ski jumping, etc.)
- Snowboarding
- Ski mountaineering
- Freestyle skiing
The UN CPC subclass 29410 is defined through the following headings/subheadings of the HS 2007:
- 64.02 Other footwear with outer soles and uppers of rubber or plastics.
- Sports footwear: 6402.12 -- Ski-boots, cross-country ski footwear and snowboard boots
- 64.03 Footwear with outer soles of rubber, plastics, leather or composition leather and uppers of leather.
- Sports footwear: 6403.12 -- Ski-boots, cross-country ski footwear and snowboard boots
