PCR description
The validity of this adopted c-PCR was first prolonged until 2024-12-31, and later until 2026-06-30, due to the initation of an updating process. A new adoption process will be initiated once the updating process has been completed.

“Part B for Technical – Chemical products for building and construction industry” (NPCR 009 version 3.0) of EPD Norway has been adopted as a c-PCR to PCR 2019:14 of the International EPD System, with the following additional specifications and restrictions:
· All references to “NPCR part A” or “Part A” are replaced with references to PCR 2019:14.
· If there is an applicable UN CPC code for the product, it shall be stated in the EPD (in the product description section).
· The reference to EN 15978:2011 for guidance on developing scenarios shall be interpreted as being non-mandatory.
· The reference to EN 16757:2017 for specifications on how carbonation shall be declared is a normative reference that shall follow the latest version of the standard.
· Guidance and requirements of PCR 2019:14 and EN 15804:2012+A2:2019 not referenced to in the PCR also apply.

The PCR (version 3.0) was adopted 2022-07-08 as a c-PCR under PCR 2019:14, after being reviewed and accepted by the Technical Committee of EPD International acting as PCR Review Panel for the adoption process. Review chair was Lars-Gunnar Lindfors, IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute.
