PCR description
"Part B for ventilation components" (NPCR 030) of EPD Norway has been adopted as a c-PCR to PCR 2019:14 of the International EPD System, with the following additional specifications and restrictions:
· All references to “NPCR part A” or “Part A” are replaced with references to PCR 2019:14.
· If there is an applicable UN CPC code for the product, it shall be stated in the EPD (in the product description section).
· Guidance and requirements of PCR 2019:14 and EN 15804:2012+A2:2019+AC:2021 not referenced to in the PCR also apply.

Note that the PCR refers to EN 15804:2012, but this is according to EPD Norway an editorial mistake that will be corrected. The PCR has always been intended to be compliant with EN 15804:2012+A2:2019, and is as such also compliant with EN 15804:2012+A2:2019+AC:2021. At the cover page, it correctly refers to EN 15804+A2 (i.e., EN 15804:2012+A2:2019).
The PCR (version 1.0) was adopted 2022-09-23 as a c-PCR under PCR 2019:14, after being reviewed and accepted by the Technical Committee of EPD International acting as PCR Review Panel for the adoption process. Review chair was Claudia A. Peña, ADDERE Research & Technology.
The adoption covers minor updates (versions 1.X). Presently (2023-05-09), version 1.1 is the most recent version.
There is a current development of an EN standard with a likely overlap with c-PCR-018: "Ventilation for buildings – Environmental product declarations – Product Category rules complementary to EN 15804 for ventilation components". When published, this will be adopted as a c-PCR under PCR 2019:14 Construction products. The current status as of 2025-07-09 is "Preliminary". Estimated publication year: 2026-2027. You can follow its development here. When there is an overlap in scope, the EN standard will replace c-PCR-018.
