PCR description
This main PCR sets the overall and sector-general EPD requirements for the food and beverage sector, and allow EPDs based on a declared unit for all products of the sector. More specific requirements will be set by complementary PCRs (c-PCRs), allowing EPDsbased on functional units.
Existing PCRs on specific food and beverage products will, over time, be upgraded to c-PCRs under this main PCR. Until they have been upgraded, and as long as they are valid, they shall be used instead of this main PCR for the products within their scopes.
