The International EPD System logotype
The International EPD System (IES) logotype symbolises a yardstick — a standardised tool for objective measurement, and is mandatory to be included in the environmental product declarations published in the International EPD System.
The IES logotype is the property of EPD International AB, and its use is subject to the conditions set out in the Global Programme Instructions (GPI) and below, and other uses of the logotype are only allowed based on agreements with EPD International AB. Unauthorised use and/or misuse of the logotype is not permitted, and EPD International AB retains the right to request the withdrawal of an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), removal of published materials, and legal action on the transgression related to the misuse of the logotype.

Traceability Logotype
For product-specific communication
Product-specific traceability logotype for web applications and product packaging can be downloaded on the page of published Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) in the EPD Library.
Traceability logotypes are available in the following types:
Primary traceability logotype: includes a QR code linking directly to the corresponding product page in the EPD Library together with the International EPD System logotype

Secondary traceability logotype: includes the registration number of the published EPD together with the International EPD System logotype

Both logotypes are provided in both colour and greyscale versions, with resolutions of 96 dpi for digital applications and 300 dpi for high-quality print production. EPD owners can access and download the logotypes by clicking the “Download Traceability Logotype” button on the relevant EPD page in the EPD Library.
Applications
The traceability logotypes may be integrated into websites, social media posts when communicating data or information from an EPD, as well as product packaging, brochures, and other marketing materials.
The primary traceability logotype, composed of QR code and International EPD System logotype, should always be prioritised over the secondary traceability logotype.
For digital communication: the traceability logotype must include the hyperlink to the EPD page in the EPD Library.
For printed materials: the QR code element of the primary traceability logotype must measure at least 2 × 2 cm to ensure scannability.
