EPD-IES-0002001:001 (S-P-02001) Knauf Danogips Plasterboards

This PCR refers to the old version of the standard EN 15804 (EN 15804:2012+A1:2013). A new version was published 2019-12-20 (PCR 2019:14), referring to the new version of EN 15804 (EN 15804:2012+A2:2019). 
The validity period of PCR 2012:01 ended 2022-02-28. As of 2022-03-01, PCR 2019:14 is the only valid main PCR for construction products in the International EPD System. 
The below listed sub-PCRs are no longer valid, instead the c-PCRs under PCR 2019:14 shall be used.&nbsp;
This document serves as Product Category Rules (PCR) for Construction products and Construction services. It aims to be the main way to develop and register EPDs in the International EPD System, compliant with the European standard EN 15804:2012+A1:2013 (Sustainability of construction works - Environmental product declarations - Core rules for the product category of construction products).
In addition, this document may also be the basis for development of "sub-PCRs" for more specific product categories

<li>If this document is used as a PCR, it may be used for Construction products and construction services for an EPD based on a declared unit, cradle-to-gate or cradle-to-gate with options;</li>
<li>If this document is used together with a sub-PCR, it may be used for an EPD based on a functional unit, cradle-to-grave.</li>
</ul>

Construction products and construction services (EN 15804:A1) (expired)

This PCR refers to the old version of the standard EN 15804 (EN 15804:2012+A1:2013). A new version was published 2019-12-20 (PCR 2019:14), referring to the new version of EN 15804 (EN 15804:2012+A2:2019).
The validity period of PCR 2012:01 ended 2022-02-28. As of 2022-03-01, PCR 2019:14 is the only valid main PCR for construction products in the International EPD System.
The below listed sub-PCRs are no longer valid, instead the c-PCRs under PCR 2019:14 shall be used.

A plasterboard is a construction product used for covering walls and ceilings and the boards come in different varieties to meet different performance requirements, e.g. properties such as moisture resistance, acoustic insulation, fire performance and mechanical properties vary between different board types. Different additives and improving agents in each board recipe give the boards their specific properties, and thus make them suitable for different construction applications.

The different boards covered in this EPD are:

Classic Board 
Board suitable for a range of applications, such as cladding of walls, ceilings, pillars and beams, and also under floorboards. Applicable for simple room-separating structures as well as fire and sound insulating components.

Clima Board 
Used as wind protection in structures where it is desirable to avoid air currents and as rain protection during construction. Also functions as an airtight layer.

Humidboard 2.0 
Board for interior walls in moisture-sensitive environments, has very low absorption capacity.

Reno Board 
Board for cladding of existing walls and ceilings. Can also be used for curved structures.

Secura Board 
A fire protection board for both roof and wall constructions, able to withstand high fire classes in thin wall- and ceiling structures.

Solid Board 
Made for wall constructions demanding high shock resistance.

Weatherboard 365 
Impregnated water-repellent board, resistant to mould and UV radiation. Designed to be exposed without facing for 12 months.
