End-of-the-year Finance Updates
As we approach the end of 2024, the Secretariat of EPD International AB wishes to highlight key updates on invoicing, pricing, and contract termination to ensure a smooth transition into the new year.
Invoicing Information
Registration Fee for Q4
Invoices for new Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) registrations made during Q4 will be issued on 30 December 2024. If you need an invoice before this date, please contact our finance department at finance@environdec.com.
Please note that starting from 1 January 2025, the number of EPDs under each organisation will be reset. As a result, the first EPD registered in the new year will incur a registration fee of € 1,000. To avoid this fee, kindly ensure that any intended EPD registrations for 2024 are completed by 29 December 2024.
Annual Fee for 2025
For companies with an annual subscription from January to December, the invoice for 2025 will be sent at the beginning of January. If your subscription runs on a different cycle, your invoice will be sent at the beginning of the month, corresponding to when your first EPD was registered.
Pricing for 2025
We are pleased to confirm that the pricing for 2025 will remain unchanged from the previous two years. This reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the development of EPDs and advancing sustainability practices across industries.
Additionally, companies publishing more than 50 EPDs annually may be eligible for our Global Account, which offers enhanced benefits and greater flexibility for organisations with a high volume of EPDs.
Contract Termination Guidelines
If you wish to terminate your contract with EPD International, please ensure that you de-register all your EPDs from the Portal. This will remove them from the EPD Library and prevent further invoices from being issued.
As per our Service Agreement, a 30-day notice period is required for contract termination. Therefore:
- For annual subscriptions from January to December, de-registration must be completed by 29 November 2024.
For subscriptions with different periods, de-registration must occur at least 30 days before the annual fee invoice is issued.
Upon de-registration, your EPD will be classified as expired and cannot be used for marketing purposes. Please note that no refunds will be issued once an invoice has been generated.
