Annual Fee Adjustment for 2027

The annual fee for EPD owners will be adjusted for 2027, following an internal routine that aligns pricing with the Labour Cost Index (LCI) published by Eurostat. This ensures transparency and consistency with actual labour cost developments.
The Secretariat of the International EPD System announces that the annual fee for 2027 will be adjusted by 3,67%. The adjustment is based on the Eurostat Labour Cost Index (LCI), a transparent and reliable benchmark that tracks salary-related expenses across the EU. The LCI serves as a fair reference point for personnel costs — a key component of the services provided by EPD International.
The annual fee will continue to be reviewed once per year, and any future adjustments will be communicated at least 30 days in advance as stated in our Service Agreement. This approach ensures that the fee structure remains fair, consistent with cost developments, and aligned with international standards.
Updated enterprise segmentation
For 2027, the existing Small and medium-sized enterprises category will be divided into two separate segments, introducing a new price point for medium-sized enterprises. All other enterprise segments will remain unchanged.
Small-sized enterprises: Organisations with 11–50 employees will continue to pay an annual fee of EUR 1,030 plus the annual adjustment.
Medium-sized enterprises: Organisations with 51–250 employees will pay an annual fee of EUR 1,500.
Regional adaptations may apply
While the annual fee structure is established globally to support the continued development and operation of the International EPD System, EPD International may apply market-specific pricing arrangements in selected non-EU markets where local conditions warrant a differentiated approach.
