What are you looking forward to working with?
I'm thrilled to be a part of EPD International because it's a place where I genuinely feel appreciated. What really stands out to me is the incredible synergy within our group. Moreover, the future prospects of EPD International are undeniably exciting and promising. We are actively engaged in the pursuit of global leadership in EPDs, which is a significant mission.
Do you have predictions for the future of EPDs?
I see a promising future for EPDs due to the evolving environmental regulations and incentives. They're becoming a crucial part of compliance and a way to stand out in the market. Traditionally, EPDs were mainly associated with construction products, but that's changing rapidly. The scope is expanding, and we're witnessing EPDs covering a wide range of products and services. You'd be surprised – EPDs can be crafted for a multitude of services, software, and other innovative offerings that we might not even fathom yet in the future.
Moreover, EPD International is contributing to a bigger picture by striving for global standardization in sustainability reporting. In our increasingly globalized world, it's very exciting to be part of a movement that's unifying sustainability practices worldwide. This push for globalization will ensure consistency and comparability, and EPD International is in the driving seat, pioneering the world of EPDs.
